Assessment
New class of suborbital spaceships succeeding VSS Unity, released from a carrier aircraft and propelled into suborbital space by a hybrid rocket motor, with seats for up to six private passengers. According to the second quarter 2026 update, flight tests start with a captive carry flight in October 2026, the first commercial spaceflight is targeted for February 2027 and a second ship is to join in March 2027.
