For providers

Checked requests for launch providers, ready for your indicative offer.

Carrier Space forwards checked requests to launch providers, brokers and orbital transfer vehicle (OTV) operators. Customers describe their payload once and choose the providers they want to ask. You receive the request without the customer's name and contact details and decide freely on an indicative offer, a non-binding quote.

How a request reaches you

01

Request

A company or institution describes its payload: weight, target orbit, launch period and integration needs. It selects up to five providers it wants to ask, or asks for suggestions of providers that match its payload and orbit.

02

Review

Carrier Space checks the request for completeness and plausibility and forwards it anonymously: you receive the payload's key data, weight and dimensions rounded, the type of organization in broad classes and the country or region, without the customer's name, organization or contact details.

03

Indicative offer

You answer through a personal link, with or without an account. Before your first indicative offer, you accept the framework agreement with Carrier Space once. Then you submit an indicative offer or decline within the response deadline stated in the request.

04

Disclosure

If the customer selects your indicative offer and agrees to share the contact details, you receive the name, organization and contact details and negotiate directly. Carrier Space discloses a customer to only one provider at a time. You and the customer conclude the launch contract directly. You report a signed contract or the end of negotiations to Carrier Space within ten working days.

What you receive

  • Checked requests with the payload's key data: weight and dimensions rounded, orbit, launch period, interface and export control as stated by the customer.
  • Visibility of your launch vehicles and missions in a neutral comparison that customers use to plan their launch.
  • A free choice on every request. Declining and submitting an indicative offer cost nothing.
  • A record of every step, from forwarding to disclosure.
  • An optional account: maintain your profile, see requests in your inbox and answer them there.

Fees

Carrier Space is free of charge for customers. As a provider you pay only when a customer selects your indicative offer and is disclosed to you.

A fixed brokerage fee is due with the disclosure. If a launch contract follows, a commission applies, and the brokerage fee is credited against it. Your first disclosure is free of charge.

The exact amounts are set out in Annex 1 of the framework agreement. You receive the agreement with your first request, before you submit an indicative offer.

For brokers and operators of orbital transfer vehicles

Brokers and operators of orbital transfer vehicles take part in the same way as launch providers. You can list flights on launch vehicles of other providers, and customers select you directly for their request. Launches on launch vehicles of other providers have their own commission rate.

Already listed?

If your company is already in the Carrier Space catalog, maintained from public sources, requests reach you through the personal link in each forwarded request, with or without an account. To maintain your details yourself, open your provider profile and choose “Claim profile”.
